FAQs

When should I arrive for my appointment?

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to get checked in and allow time to discuss your personalized treatment session. Please note, arriving late will deprive you of precious treatment time since your service will end as scheduled to ensure that the next client begins on time.

Do I have to take off all off my clothes?

Most people do, but this is completely up to you. Please undress only to your comfort level, keeping in mind that you will be appropriately draped (covered) with a sheet and blanket during your treatment.

Can I talk to my therapist during the session?

Most people find it more relaxing not to engage in conversation, but it's completely up to you. I do encourage my clients to always (please, please!) speak up during their session as it relates to their treatment – let me know if you prefer a different pressure of touch, a different technique, and above all let me know if you have any discomfort or pain. Remember, it's your treatment!  I want you to make the most of it.

Do you make house calls?

As a general rule, I do not make house calls. If there are special circumstances in which I could better accommodate the client in their home, please ask.

What is your cancellation policy?

Occasionally, unanticipated events happen for us all – and I understand. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, I do require 24 hours advance notice to cancel an appointment. This allows someone else the opportunity to schedule an appointment in your place. If you are unable to give 24 hours notice, you agree in advance to be charged in full for the scheduled service.

If you miss your appointment without notice, you'll be considered a "no-show" and agree in advance to be charged the full amount of your scheduled service.

If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened in order to accommodate those who have appointments following yours. Depending on how late you arrive, there may not be enough time to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you agree in advance to be charged the full amount for the time you booked.

Out of respect and consideration for everyone's time, please plan accordingly and be on time. I look forward to serving you!

What types of payment do you accept?
